| I made "Blast Radius on Toast," which is my version of "Egyptian Toast" or "Egg in a Basket."
First, I get a pan ready (with Pam or butter or whatever). I then butter the bottom of a piece of toast, very liberally. While I'm doing this, I prepare a mix of butter, sugar, and cinnamon. I spread this on the top of the toast, after taking out a circle of bread in the center. Into this, I crack an egg, then fry it. I don't make the whole as big as others do, so at the last moment I can flip the toast over, and the hot plan fries the uncooked egg on top very quickly. I then put on some syrup, and it's somewhere between "Egg in a Basket" and French toast. The original bottom usually gets really toasted, but the original top only spends enough time to fry the egg still left so it's less crispy. I often break the yolk intentionally, so there are several textures at play.
I called it "Blast Radius on Toast" because of its appearance. It's delicious, though not too healthy.
