The last thing I actually cooked - sadly enough last week - was an amazing taco salad. I sauteed garlic, onions and green bell pepper with soy burger crumbles and pinto beans and added taco seasoning. I put it all on top of tostadas with salad greens, olives and hot salsa.

mac and cheese and chicken nuggets for my lil cousins...

but I recently made crepes for the first time, with blueberries, syrup, sugar, and whipped cream.
love crepes... but probably better when a pro makes them. ha, they werent bad though

I'm making semi-curried carrot and summer squash soup right now. Carrots from the farmer's market, and squash from my in-laws. Mmmmmm.

I made some grilled chicken gyros the other day with tzatziki and apricot couscous. Mmmmm. We just got this awesome grill / panini press thing and we've been going wild with it. It cooks well-done steaks or perfect chicken breasts in five minutes flat.

Last night I made Vermicelli with Mushrooms in a Lemon Tarragon Cream Sauce.
Whole-wheat pasta is amazing.
