I don't know about the rest of you, but I [or my wife] often give names to our cars.

The best one, by far, was

Atilla the Hyundai.

We also had another one, a Honda Civic with carb problems, we called

Whiplash, because it would sometimes jerk so badly.

My first car was Joy. (I felt joyful when I drove it.) It was also known as the Cherry Bomb.

My second car was Rachael. (A misspelled foretelling of my spouse?)

My current car is El Guapo, Destroyer of Nations. Because it is.
