I've only heard 2 of the singles from this album, and i love them.

Yeah, they're awesome. The songs you heard were the title track and Over my Head, I'm guessing.

This shouldn't be here. The band has made it clear they don't want to be considered Christian, so it's disrespectful of their wishes and also out-of-step with a resource for Christian music to include them.

I really like The Fray, but they're not a CGR band! They've made that clear! Their songs are only spiritual in a passing sense and aren't about God! Respect the band's wishes!

The Fray is not a "Christian" band, nor do they wish to labeled as one, as Jeffrey said.

They are all Christians according to the interviews I have read and take their faith seriously.

They just don't seem to fit here on CGR. But, whatever.

There's a fine line to be walked here (as Switchfoot doesn't want to be labeled as a "Christian" band either), but that's not my call to make, because I know nothing about them.

That's different. They started as a christian band.

I heard that the guys in the Fray started in their church youth band.

I did the exclamation points to make my post seem less harsh, but it seems I failed at that. I didn't want to come across like I thought people putting The Fray here were stupid.

Then there are Christian label bands we need to take off this list.
