I walked around the apartment today with the windchime trying to figure out what to do with it since it can no longer reside outside. It made lots of noise, and I discovered that the apartment produces wonderful echoes.

Hang it next to a ceiling fan or something. After running the ceiling fan for a decent amount of time, you will probably lose your likeness for windchimes and it won't be a problem anymore.

I'll probably also decapitate my wife when she gets up in the morning as it is a heavy windchime and the only ceiling fan is over the bed. hmmmmmm.

While that would certainly get rid of your likeness for windchimes, it's probably not the greatest idea...
