Joined, team name is the leenies. I also won't be here for the draft I will be gone all of that week. But I will set up my draft order.

I signed up as the Schrutes, my yahoo id is rkfan56 (I made this in the seventh grade, and i'm still embarassed by it)
Fact: the Schrutes have all been physically flawless.
Question: how exactly does the draft work, this is my first fantasy league.

Ok, you can go to the league page and then click on "my team" towards the top. A large window tells you the ammount of time untill the draft. There is also a link to "pre-rank your players". You should do this in case for some reason you can't make it to the draft.

The draft is set to LIVE, which means, at the designated time (August 19th @ 3:45 EDT as of now) the 'pre-rank players' link will change to a 'enter draft' link. You will click that and it will open a java window. In that window we will all take turns picking players, it usually takes a couple hours. There will be a chat box in that window so you can get help & instructions from me/us then also.

Your roster will be made up of
1 QB
2 RB's
3 WR's
1 TE
1 K
1 DEF
and 6 (I think) bench spots. This means you will pick 15 players...and you can choose who to start certian weeks. You get points based on the players performance. You will also be able to make trades, and pick up Free Agents and drop players as the season goes along. I think that pretty much covers everything. I would suggest reading some of the Fantasy Articles on Yahoo about players, strategy, ect. if you haven't played before, or played much.

Now I did NFL last year and am not familiar with how yahoo does it
If I don't sign on on Sunday then I'll get who I ranked in the position that I ranked them correct?

basically yes. I'm assuming the yahoo live draft is the same as the ESPN live draft.

of course if you get pick #11 and your first ten picks get picked up by other people, your 1st round pick will be the guy ranked #11.
