New fog lights.

ok so i bought a set of fog light at a yard sale not too long ago. i decited to put them on the caravan. what does everyone think? the only thing is that i had to mount them to the plastic and they can bounce up and down a little but not bad for $15.

Looks sharp. Spacing does seem a tad close... If they are close to the ground watch out for clearance, such as speed bumps, etc. Also, here in PA, the state inspection law requires that they be switched in with the high-beam circuit, so when you bring the vehicle in for inspection, the shop may remove them/clip the wires/request that you remove them...


Or if you go to a *local* "good ole boys" shop, they may not care & pass it with them connected to a toggle switch, which is probably how you have them wired now, right? (Judging from your first pic.)

BTW, if they are high wattage/amperage, it would be a good idea to run them off an aux. relay...

right, the fog lights have their own switch.

it looks nice when you're looking at it from the front, but when you get real close, you can see the arm stick out like crazy, is there any way you can cut down the arms, to make it stick closer?
