| So I have a new job!
I now work for Worshipmusic.com and Worshipteam.com doing some data entry and validation stuff. Not very exciting, but the cool thing about this is that the company that owns them has some future plans that could fit really nicely into my skillset. They're also willing to work with my two other jobs schedulewise, so I can keep getting experience in studio and live. At least now, I'm not gonna be totally pressed for money. And I'm doing things that directly relate to worship and benefits church ministries. |

So, three days after I started my new job, I get an email from Disney Cruise Lines asking me if I want to join them... I would have to start in less than 3 weeks though so it's sort of a no go. I'll still interview with them and see what they say though... |

| Well time for a little update...
The new job is going well... my bank account is happy. It's pretty easy work... I just sit at a computer listen to music and search for information and input it into the computer all day. I'm still doing live sound and working in the studio on my off days, but this is gonna pay the bills and keep me busy while the other stuff is slow. There's actually more work than I can handle (especially when you factor in homework on top of all that), but I think I'm starting to get a grasp on the schedule. Next week, I'm driving to memphis to take a big exam about air traffic control stuff then driving to Jackson... then Christina and I are driving to Arkansas to visit my aunt, uncle and cousin for Thanksgiving.
I also got a new phone... the Motorola Droid and it is awesome. |

| Glad to see that you have enough work to pay the bills and sorry that you have so much that you can't handle it all. You'll get used to the schedule though and then it'll be easier.
I didn't know you were going into the air traffic field.

I didn't know you were going into the air traffic field. | Not sure if I am, but when things were looking really bad a few months ago, there was a big recruiting drive for ATCs. I've always loved planes and listening in on air traffic controllers so I figured I'd apply. Considering the salary being ridiculously high and I could retire with 75% of that in 20 years, I figured I'd go ahead and give it a shot. Next week is an aptitude test to see if I would be a good match for the position. The whole application process tends to take at least a year... Quote:
