Motherboards...

Four abit warranty excanges later and I'm in the market for a new board...

Need's Sli capabilities, Socket AM2, Onboard audio (5.1 or higher), onboard lan, 3 sata ports, USB 2.0 and fierwire, DDR800 compatable, STABLE, and NOT abit.

And it'd be nice not to pay more than $125 for it...

Sorry to hear that you have an AM2 processor...

This one looks good. In my opinion, MSI is second only to ASUS in quality.

If you want to spend a little more for a really good board, check out this ASUS board

EDIT: This looks like a good board for a little cheaper. Gigabyte has vastly improved their quality over the past few years.

Why... that thing is a beast...

Anyways... i found a Gigabyte on newegg and an Asus... I'd go with Asus but the one i found only had one ethernet port... I'd provide links but it's too much trouble on the Wii.

Preferably... it's not a huge deal... i like the MSI but I've never dealt with them... the reviews seemed good though... and heat isn't an issue with my giant case, 4 fans, and water cooling system...

did i mention that i like overclocking?

From what I've heard, overclocking is better on ASUS boards. I've never owned an MSI board, but I can attest to the great features that ASUS provides. There are more options in my BIOS than I know what to do with. I have a P5N-E SLI, by the way (Intel board).
I understand why 2 ethernet ports can be good, but I rarely see boards with that feature. I'll check later to see if I can find any.

A lot of AMD Boards have 2 Ethernet ports, but now that I think about it, i really don't need it because i'm not doing much gaming these days... I'm going later to a place in Hixon TN to buy a motherboard... i called in and they have an Asus...

If you really need an extra ethernet port to connect to the Wii, just buy a router or switch or something.

Had nothing to do with the Wii...

Anyways, I ended up buying an Asus M2N-SLI Delux...

Had a spot of trouble installing it because of conflicts with the residue of the Abit...

So...

I reformatted... didn't really lose anything, everything is backed up... well... almost everything... but nothing I'm too broken up over.. but it's running fine now...

Glad to hear it. If I am a fanboy of anything, it's ASUS.
