I just had another bottle yesterday. It was better now. Fully carbonated and delicious!!

My IPA is in the secondar fermenter right now. When I transferred the beer to the secondary I added 1 oz of cascade hops. They are no floating on the top adding wonderful hop aroma. I'll probably bottle this batch in a couple more weeks.

Oh wow! I bottled my IPA today. I took a hydrometer reading and it looks like its approx 6.2 % ABV. Since I didn't want to waste any, I decided to drink the sample that I took for the reading. THe beer is still very young, so there is definitely a yeasty taste to it right now, but after you get past that, it is delicious!! I can't wait to taste it after its been allowed to bottle condition for a while. This beer is going to be good!!!

Yesterday I started a new batch in the primary. I'm really excited about this one. I'm making a Blackberry Hefeweissen. Its was by far the easiest I've brewed and if it turns out well, I'll probably be making it a lot more since it only cost about $15 to brew 5 gallons. Woohoo!
