I think I'm growing again. Which sucks. Pretty much all of my muscles hurt as well as my joints. They have been for about a week now. I know that most people are done growing by now, but in my family late growth spurts are common and pretty much expected, on both sides. Shoot, my uncle graduated high school at 5'6" didn't grow again until he was 21. He's about 6'5" now.... I think right now, I'm about 6' even or just a little above that. I'm not really sure. The last time my height was measured I was 5'11" and I know for sure that I've grown since then. Mostly because when I leave my house I hit my head on the doorway, it's short for a doorway, and I didn't do that 6 months ago. Ugh. I miss being short. |
Haha, I never try! Life's too great with it to be without it.
Could you lend me a few inches? Poor me over here is only 5' 2.5".
Hi, Brian. I'm Laura, but you can call me Lou if you'd like. |

Hi, Brian. I'm Laura, but you can call me Lou if you'd like. |
Well, hello Laura. Since you initially introduced yourself as such, I will probably call you that. It's easier.
I would lend you a few inches if I could, but I don't think that is really possible.... Man, I miss being short. I didn't grow from fourth grade till the end of eighth. Man, I was a tiny guy.
Well, I did get the job. So far it has been crazy and busy. Mostly just crazy busy, but whatever. I haven't been home much in the last week. Mostly I've been at my bosses house working. Cutting some fallen trees and such. I've been tired all week. Ugh.
Things should slow down here by the end of this week. Most of the stuff we have been doing at his house is almost done. Actually, I'm pretty sure we could finish up in a day, but he's a bit laid back and so it will probably take us a few. I'm not complaining, I'm getting paid. The only problem is, however, when I work at his house I end up having to stay overnight because he lives about sixty miles away at the least. So I just ride out with him and have to wait upon his leisure to get back to my home. Which means while I'm out there I have no internet access and no phone access. It's fun though. We have a good time.
That's all for now. Peace

Glad to hear the job is working out so far Brian, that's fantastic news. And hey: better tired with money in your pockets then bored and broke, am I right? |

| My phone isn't working currently so I couldn't talk to you last night, which you know because I got Jojo to call you instead. I will most likely be able to call you tonight but I wanted to tell you about my day yesterday before I forgot, and where better to talk about my day than in your blog.
Yesterday was raining a ton, I had to drive under 40 mph most of the way to school just so I could see anything. When I got to school it was still pouring so I had to walk the mile to my class in the pouring rain and got soaked. Plus the building my classes are in are a good 20 degrees colder than it was outside so I was wet and freezing for 3 hours while I was taught stuff I already know(in english class) and took a super easy test(spanish). Then I drove to the library because it wasn't time to pick Levi up from school yet. On the way there I got a text from AX so I called him because texting and driving is bad, 'specially in the rain, and about 10-15 minutes into the conversation he couldn't hear me nor I him so he tried later when I was in the library but we still couldn't hear eachother. Then I picked up Levi and we went to Sonic and got him and application and I got a hot coffee and a vanilla ice cream cone because I was freezing and still wet. Then we went to H-E-B and I bought socks and Levi got some teas. Since I was still wet and freezing when I got home, 6 hours after being first soaked, I took a nice hot bath and cut a 2 inch gash in my ankle with the razor. After I bandaged that up I watched some TV, went on IRC, painted some (I love my medium floater) and tried calling you. By 11 or so I figured out my phone wasn't working and had other people call me and I called them but no dice. So I asked Jojo to call you and tell you.
I think maybe water got into it since it was in my pocket when I got soaked and it would be really easy for water to get in. So I put it in a bag of rice and if that doesn't work then I will borrow moms or Levi until its fixed. Probably Levi since he owes me. |

| Well hello there people. Whilst I am on today you probably won't see me again for a while.
Quick rundown of things since the last time I was on -
Things have been working out pretty well at work. I work too much, but that's okay. We're getting ready to move to a bigger better building. That should be sweet.
I've been stuck at my house for about a week and a half because of snow. Thankfully, it's raining and making the snow melt. While it has been okay that I've been stuck here, seeing as my eldest sister has come down from Washington, it's still sucks. I've been bored out of my mind.
Speaking of my eldest sister, she was in the hospital lately and they thought she had breast cancer. Fortunately, it's not.
My best friend is getting deployed in April. Not to excited about that, but I can deal with it.
That's about it, I think. Not too much lately.

| I do landscaping. Mostly I just dig holes. A lot of holes. In the rain. And mud. It sucks sometimes...
I hope not. My boss is pretty chill so it shouldn't be too bad. It's just going to be fairly hectic for a while because we are moving then two weeks after we have a really big job starting.

| Haven't been here in a while. A good while.
Well, here's the last few months in a nutshell. I moved, lost my job, and my best friend just got himself deployed. More or less. I moved in with my best friend, the deployed one, and his girlfriend moved in here shortly after we did. So it's been the three of us. He's gone. So it's just the two of us. She's crazy and gets on my nerves. Ugh. My boss started losing money bigtime so I got fired/ I quit. My mother had surgery about a month ago. Well, two surgeries. So, I'm running out of money, options and time. Life has been frustrating as of late. And, to top it all of I had to "break up" with Beth. It was a decision that had to be made, but I don't have to like it.
However, I mostly came in to talk about today in particular. I'm sick and that always sucks, but I guess my friend's girlfriend has decided that I'm worthless and decided to come out with that news today. She decided to yell at me and such, not fun. I started cleaning the house and found a bunch of my stuff in the trash can. Stuff that was in my room. I asked her about it and she denies it completely. Then just a little bit ago she accused me of stealing her money. Fun times.
Mostly I'm frustrated and at my wits end. I just needed to say that.
Whoo, and now I'm really dizzy. Okay, that's done. That was strange.

| Well I got the situation with my friends lady solved and taken care of. So no worries about that. We had a long and involved discussion yesterday evening-ish. She understands where I'm coming from and I understand where she is coming from. Thankfully we should be able to coexist peacefully.

| I think you might be onto something. Especially considering, a friend of mine just stopped by my house and told me that there is a job waiting for me if I want it. Working in a body shop at a car dealership. Not a bad job in my opinion.
Here's to things looking up. For the most part. I'm still having serious issues with my health, but I can deal with that.
