| I played golf today. It was a lot of fun, even though I suck really bad. And I bought a set of used golf clubs for $25. For the whole set. They suck too, but trust me, the clubs are not the limiting factor when I play golf... |

| I haven't played in over a year, but its fun
If I had someone to play with, I'd probably play more, as I live right down the street from a golf course.
I also took lessons once about three years ago, some kid got really mad at me for 1) having a Nike bag at a country club that sells Ping gear, and 2) Being bad at golf (maybe thats why I was taking lessons...)
Needless to say, it did leave a bit of a bad taste in my mouth about golf for awhile. |

| I love golf and have been consistently golfing for about 4 years now. I play weekly in a junior golf league and just recently broke 90 for the first time. I was very proud of that.

| Mini Golf here... at least with all those obstacles in the course, I have an excuse for being so bad at it! |

| If it wasn't so expensive I'd play more. I got a set of clubs for $5! Everything, including the bag, and everything. My dad has started working at a golf course, so I'll probably go more often. Actually, I'm going tuesday. We'll see how that goes... |

| Yep. I've played for just over 20 years. I started when I was a kid.
I used to play competitive, but I just play on Saturdays now. That's the only time I even touch a club anymore pretty much. It's a great sport. |

| For the golfers, what brand ball do you play? I recently started playing Nike Mojos which are quite good. Only thing is they're not very forgiving--lots of hooks and slices with them. So I'm getting ready to switch to Titlelist DT 2-Piece balls.

| I've gone through different stages with golf balls. Now I just play whatever is given to me. I usually get golf balls for Christmas. I've been playing some Top-Flite's lately and I also got some Callaway CX3 Hot balls for Christmas. Those Callaway's really fly off the club face. I've never played another ball like them. They're not bad around the greens either.
I think the main thing is just consistently playing the same ball for a while. I can get used to playing with most any ball...except maybe those cheap Dunlop balls that might as well be rocks.
P.S. ~ I used to play Titleist DT's when I was younger. Those are good balls. The covers used to literally crack and sort of shatter in cold weather though. That was odd. |
