Charlie is America's Next Top Model.
Well, not really. But he is getting to use his fine mug for a good cause.
He just won a spot in the 2008 Parrots at Play Calendar. It's a benefit calendar where all the proceeds go to bird rescues throughout the U.S. and Canada. When you buy a calendar, you can have to proceeds go whatever rescue you wish. I'm pretty excited about this. Charlie's picture and story will be in the calendar. Now he can help birds like him find happy homes!!

Congratulations! Was it a picture you took, Chelsea? If so, I'm sure that helped his chances, even though he is a beautiful bird in his own right.

Yes, I took the picture. But if he hadn't been sticking his fat face in front of the lense, it wouldn't have worked as well.
