You don't always notice what you notice. It's a topic I've explored and discussed a lot in martial arts.

Ironically I do agree that the answers offered are not the whole answers on some of these (we do seek that which stands out as different, because it promotes diversity in the gene pool); but we cannot use your example either.

We know that there's a preference for blue eyes; this obviously predicates on the fact that people do notice eye color... whether consiously or subconsiously.

That's great. I still don't notice eye color as a rule. And I am also going to stick with my doubts that I unconciously or conciously notice a womans pupil dialation...as a rule. Now when I decide that I want to know certain things like if they are attracted to me or lying to me or something, then yes I do pay attention, particularly to their eyes. But I do think that my doubts about this article has been discussed enough.

So then you are claiming that you have zero preference in eye color (as you completely don't notice it). This can be demonstrated to not extend to a generality as there is actually a preference in eye-color in dating choices.

I am claiming that I didn't intend to spend as much time talking about this as I have. I don't really care. Do you just try to start an argument about every little thing?
