grrrr i hate being on quarters! i have to buy books three times a year! arrrrrrrg!


well lets see who had to spend the most for books


i came in at $250 this time around!

I only buy them twice a year since we do spring and fall semesters. This semester was my cheapest ever, topping out at only $109. Fall '00 was the most expensive at somewhere around $350 or so. I only have two classes that actually use books this semester, so I got off lucky. I have history and Spanish books that will be re-used in the other classes I'll have to take next year, so that will save dough, too.

I'm not even in college yet, and I already have to buy all of the novels for my English class. Doesn't sound like a lot, but we read about 8 books a year, and it all adds up. Grrrrr......

I paid right at $300 for mine this semester. I know a girl that wound up shelling out $500 though. Some of our professors think it's fun to use two text books. Pure evil, I tell you.
