one chorus from Demon Hunter im trying to decode
i read the now-closed thread called "Is DH really a Christian band?", and i know theyre a Christian band, but the last line of the chorus from "The Awakening" has gotten to me. "When you disgrace/disagree( cant tell which one it is) me, i want to see your eyes burn!" who are they talking to? and why are they saying this?


i know that i'll get corrected, so i just want you to know that i discovered this band only 2 months ago, dont know a ton about them( yet ). can someone please straighten me out?

The song is about music critics, on that you'll just to trust me.
(I was gonna post a huge song meanings document that featured explanations from Ryan Clark himself - but I deleted it for some reason. The sticky thread on the DH forum is of course gone, with the rest of that forum)

So basically the whole song is about critics, perhaps he just wants their eyes to hurt instead of literally burn up. Hope that helps somewhat. (If you want to know more bout DH feel free to PM me)
