Yeah for the Carolinas, whoop whoop. Whoa what you lookin' at me like that? Oh,, hunh, I know, I live in Tennessee. Well hold on to your shirt now.

You see my familly were all born in Charlotte. My Dad grew up in Huntersville which is north of Charlotte. My mother grew up in Waxhaw which is south of Charlotte. My brother and sister was born in Charlotte also and grew part of their childhood in Waxhaw. I was born in Kingsport, Tennessee while my mom and dad were checking the town out because my dad got a driving job with the Mason and Dixon line a freighting company and they had a terminal there in Kingsport. They were looking for a home here. But during a short part of my baby hood days I was in Waxhaw till a home was found in Tenn..

I had always felt that I was cheated because I was the only one in the family that was not born in Charlotte. So therefore North Carolina will always be in my heart. I love North Myrtle Beach. I love the trees of Carolina. I love the air in the country. Highway route nine all the way to the beach is great. I know its the backroads but I love it too. Most of my kins live in the Carolinas, both North and South. So any Myers in here I say hey to ya and to any in Union County, N.C. and around Charlotte and also in Rock Hill South Carolina I say hi to you all.

Hunh, what are the chances if there are any of my kins in here at CGR, huh? I must be crazy. Heres to the Carolinas

I spent my day in Huntersville, actually. The Sam Furr road area is much nicer then any other part. I like the city, as a whole though. Pretty place.

Yeah, my dad grew up there next to the railroad tracks that ran in front of the house. With streets running on either side parallel to the tracks. The house has since been torn down. Do you know any of the Morgans or Robbinettes? They are the immediate family on my dad's side. Course some of them live in Cornelius not too far from Huntersville.

It's amazing how the people that don't live in Greenville call it G-Vegas and how the people that do live there don't.

We always called it G-Vegas as a joke. It seemed as if people thought much more highly of it than they should. I never really got into the whole Greenville scene. My band did the frat house thing briefly and played The Attic once, but Greenville never had much to offer.
