| Oh and I forgot to mention that I got my grade back for PSYC of Learning and Memory. I got an "A", despite skipping 4 times! Bwahahaaa.
Also, I only ended up getting 4 hours of sleep last night, and I'm starting to feel it.
Furthermore, it was so slippery outside that I almost fell 4 times on the way over to the mail room.
Lastly, I brought a million books with me to work and I think I'll go read until my boss has something else for me to do.
Ahhhh, another errand! Back to the mail room I go! *hoping I don't fall*

Good morning everyone!
It's another gray...ok I just typed grey, and then gray, and then grey again, and then back to gray... I can't figure out which spelling I prefer. I guess I'll stick with gray, although neither spelling looks proper now that I've been staring at it for a while. That's like when I say one word out loud over and over, very soon it doesn't even sound like it's a real word anymore. I find myself wondering if I've just imagined its existence. Does that ever happen to you guys? Or did I just give away more evidence that I'm crazy.
Ahem, as I was saying... it's another gray stormy day full of gloom or perhaps, full of promise? You decide which it is.
I for one, actually adore storms and rain and thunder and clouds, so this weather holds no gloom for me! I think it's quite prettyfull today. (Yes, I know that word doesn't exist!)
I had some yogurt at 7, and I just got hungry again so I microwaved myself some oatmeal here at work. It was really good. Later I'll eat the salad I packed for lunch. I stopped eating junk food (well for the most part) recently, but I LOVE candy. I wish I could have some Swedish Fish right now. Must. Fight. The. Candy. Cravings.
This morning at work has been very slow compared to yesterday. I've only had to run 2 errands around campus so far. Oh and I wore my Skechers, so no slipping today.
I finished Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde yesterday, and then I started the 2nd HP book last night. I think I'll finish it right now!

Like walk. walk. walk. walk. walk. walk. walk. such a funny work, walk.
For the record, the officially accepted American spelling is "gray", but I personally prefer "grey". Quote:

| Me, too! Folks think I'm crazy, but I love clouds and a touch of cold in the air. Which is why I suppose I love living here in the northwest. I was happy, since yesterday, the clouds came back. I actually got to wear my sweatshirt a bit, which pleased me. |

Lol, I'm so glad you've done the same thing! Earlier I was typing the word "cover" for a label at work and the previously mentioned phenomena happened again... goodness gracious when will it end? Quote:

I think eventually I'll have to move up north to escape the heat down here. I'm just really surprised that it's been raining so much this summer! Usually it's bone dry and blazingly hot. Quote:

My family moved for business reasons. We've done that four times now. Which is nice, because I've gotten a chance to see a lot of places. But I still like the Northwest the best.

My family has moved 6 times since I was born, but only once was to a new town, and that was when I was only a year old. The other moves were more recent, and I actually always liked moving. I love the feel of being in a new place and starting afresh, throwing out old stuff and whatnot. We've owned our house now for the last 4 years and so the next move for me will be when I get married in December. Ryan and I already know which apartments we want, and we've been saving money up for furniture.
By the time I got home today at 6:15 I was ready for a nap, so I just crashed out on the sofa in the living room. At 7:45 Ryan came by on his lunch break and we went and got some Quizno's. Being that it's been raining all day and it's rather cool, I felt like something warm and cozy so I got a bread bowl of broccoli cheese soup. It hit the spot. Ryan's break ended all too soon so he dropped me off and rushed back to work, and I've just been goofing off ever since. I checked out Jon's Flickr account today, and I got inspired to actually upload pics to mine. (Thanks Jon! Your photography is awesome by the way, much like your art) I have SO many pics from our trip to D.C this year, so I thought I'd start there. I only put 10 pics up so far, but I'll work on it more tomorrow. Here's the link.

| I really dislike the weather outside of the Northwest. It's just too hot the further south you go, and too humid and muggy the further east you go, so of course, I could never stand living in the southeast.
And you're engaged! I can't be after your heart. Quote: |

| So, I'm a newbie on this thing. True, I've been technically here since January...maybe you'd think I'd have it figured out by now...I certainly did. But, I don't. Anyway, thanks for commenting on my "fledgling" journal (I love how you write, by the way! It makes me feel like I've known you forever -- very disarming and fun!), it really does feel like an obstacle course getting used to this place, and trying to find "friends." So many things you have said made me want to just talk volumes forever, but I'll spare you just this once. However, here are a few things anyway:
1) The color scheme in the bathroom -- I love the slate blue and brown. If only we were allowed to paint our apartment, our room would be so much closer to that...
2) I've always wanted to try fake eyelashes...are they difficult to put on...or keep on?
3) I have always thought I was such a weirdo for debating which variation of spelling the word *gray* or *grey* I liked more...now I don't feel so alone!
Anyway, thanks for writing on my blog, and I hope to get to know you more later!

| Welcome back!
If I couldn't paint my walls... Maybe I'd hang colored paper or something.
Nikon cameras are nice, and cheese does contain addictive compounds. |

| Grey is such a nicer, softer, more dignified spelling than gray.

| If anyone happens to drop by here...pray for me! My wedding is in 19 days and finals are in 14 days and I've never been so stressed in my life. Trying to fall asleep at night is TORTURE because my mind will just not turn off. I have an exam tonight and three papers due tomorrow, so I'm going to get back to work now.
