Just remember this scripture, 1 Peter 2:24:"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed."

I'm not saying that we're indestructable, but that there's healing in Jesus name.

Well, today, my dad and my brother are going to get the last papers signed so that my dad can get a new hearing aid. It'll be a few weeks before the hearing aid thing is all done. But Monday (this coming monday, the 9th) he has a doctors appt for some medication for his blood pressure, blood sugar, and possibly some anxiety problems he's having. He's extremly afraid of this surgery and also he's been extrely afraid of the dark for years, so that'll never change. But the medication will help him and his doctor will be able to get the surgery re-scheduled. When I hear something about that I will keep you all updated

Well, lots has happened... My dad has a new hearing aid, so he can actually hear stuff now, finally, no more saying things 50 times so that he gets it. He's on his medication for the blood pressure and blood sugar, and the meds are working! So I believe my mom told me his surgery is re-scheduled for August 6th? I'm not positive on that. But good thing is his meds are working and he's taking them, and he has a new hearing aid that actually works.

Ok, another update, he went in for a doctors appointment yesterday, they checked his blood pressure, and the doctor approved his surgery on Monday the 6th of August. And since his blood pressure meds have been working, his eyes havn't been bleeding anymore, or atleast not as much, and he can see a tiny bit more than last time. Meaning, like shapes, and stuff that's in his way. Stuff like that. So please pray for him then. Thanks in advance.

Ok guys, today is the surgery, actually in about 40 minutes is the surgery. So far he's been at the hospital for an hour and 20 minutes. And so far everything has gone good. He's much calmer this time, and this is longer than he lasted there last time, so he really really wants this, he can't stand it anymore, so he'll do everything he can right now. My mom is there with him right now, and she's giving me all these updates I will be posting here at some point today. So keep prayin guys! I think it's going to go well today!

Ok, they did the surgery, it's been 2 hours... My mom is just waiting for the doctor or the nurse or someone to come tell her something, so I'm just hoping it went well... It got off to a good start.

Ok, he's out of surgery, everything is ok. He's in the recovery room atm, still sleeping. Once he wakes up, he'll be moved to another room, they're expecting that in about 30 minutes or so, where he will spend the night there.

Um, I'm not sure, but in a few days he will be able to take the bandages off, and I guess that's when we find out.

Another update.

Well, his surgery went good from what my mom has told me. And he's awake now, and EXTREMLY crabby!!! Like really really really crabby!! He claims that he was awake through it, and the nurse was over there shakin her head, because they know he wasn't. And he's just complaining left and right. But he's out of the recovery room and in his own room. He can't just sleep sitting up, he has to sleep leaned forward a little bit, so he's complaining about that, but so far it's good enough. He's also really confused because he can't see anything, they have a bandage over his eye, and so everything is black. Now we just wait a few days and he can take the bandages off and we'll see how it went from there.
