"Forever Faithfulness"

Psalm 100:5
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all the generations.


As I was reading this Scripture the other day for my devotional time, I could not help but think of all the people who are struggling in life right now who need reminded that God's love and faithfulness endure forever. His goodness and His love endures through any tragedy or trial we experience. Christian music artist Chris Tomlin sings the song "Forever" which explains so clearly how wonderful and magnificent God's love truly is. Over and over again in this song, we are reminded that God's faithfulness lasts beyond what we can imagine. We can sing praise everyday to our Lord Most High because of His enduring faithfulness.

As I continue to ponder this passage, I cannot help but think of all the people on this devotional list who may be going through a very difficult time of sorrow, grief, trial or dilemma in life. I think of those of you who may be dealing with the loss of a loved one. I think of those of you who may be experiencing the pain of a terrible divorce situation. I think of all of you who may be experiencing a terrible financial crunch in your family and have no idea where the next meal will come from. Maybe someone out there has had a hard time trying to communicate with a son or daughter and just does not know how to get past these tough times of adolescence.

I share this devotional with you this week to encourage you to remember that God is always faithful, no matter what you are going through. No matter how you are feeling or what you are experiencing, know that God is right there walking you through the pain.

My encouragement to all of you who do not find yourself struggling with a tradegy at this time, why don't you find someone who is and give them some comfort? Maybe you need to be a reminder to someone else that God is faithful and that His love endures forever.

God has, is and always will remain faithful. His love is above and beyond our comprehension.
