When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal".

This is the fastest paced cd I've ever heard. Their drummer somehow got faster than he was on Thrill Seeker.

The drums are incredible. I don't like the somewhat high-pitched sound in some of the screaming.

I was actually hoping for a bit more high screams a la the "Truth of a Liar" intro.
And there's just enough chanting, clean vocals and such to satisfy the melodic-metal fan that I am.

I find the high-pitched screaming annoying.

It's a 9. The new vocalist is awesome, the drums are ridiculous (snare sounded better on thrill seeker), and the guitarwork is even better than last time. But it's so repetitive that some songs are difficult to tell apart.

I would still get it, man. It's not that much more repetitive than your average metal cd, and it's a step above most in terms of musical awesomeness.

EDIT: Whoa...yeah...you definitely need to get this. I was considering this cd, and honestly, it's no worse than say...Shadows are Security or...Saints in terms of repetition. And it's better. Much.

Theres some really deep growls that I noticed too. I think its just in 1 song though. Much better than Thrill Seeker.
