Sleepers as players Qb: Russel (hes gonna have a rough start), Delhomme, Grossman, Fave, Jackson(tarvis), ELI MANNING
Russell will most likely have a typical rookie season (yeah he has a strong arm but so did/does michael vick),Delhommes better days are gone,Grossman need too improve but i dont see it happening this year,Favre just needs to retire already, and Eli need a lot of developing.

Quote:
Quaterbacks that will play good: Peyton manning, Donaven Mcnabb, Drew Bress, Matt Linhart, jay cutler
I agree except for Mcnabb.Idk if he will stay healthy but if he does he does have a good WR corps.Cutler could have a break out year.
Quote:
Running back sleepers: Ahaman Green, Joseph Addai, Cadillac Williams,
Only one there who i would call a "sleeper" would be Green.Addai had a fantastic rookie season and Williams was stellar.I would put Jerious Norwood on there if we can get him some more carries...Dunn might retire after this year i think.
Quote:
Running Back that will play good: Shawn Alexander, LT, Clinton portis or ladell betts depending on which one plays more, if Larry Johnson plays then yes. laurence maroony if he gets good playing time
Portis should get the job in washington...more flexibility.

Quote:
TE sleepers: Shockey, Gonzales, Christian Fauria, Zac Hilton
There again Shockey and Gonzalez arent sleepers.Im hoping Crumpler will have a better 07 after a disappointing 06

Quote:
wide recievers who will shine: Anaquin Boldin, steve Smith, Reggie Brown, Santana Moss and last but not least Tj houshmandash
How can you leave off Harrison and Wayne? I would add Marquez Colston also. One that i think will have a break out and could be ROTY....Calvin Johnson.Hes the man.Closest to cant miss out there.

Actually, I'm gonna say the team to watch for is the Carolina Panthers. David Carr will replace Delhomme, and will have a chip on his shoulder. DeAngelo Williams can stay healthy and be productive along with DeShaun Foster. If Steve Smith starts the season healthy, they should be good to go.

and the reason that i put shockey and Gonzales is the team not the player they are both great but
Damon Huard and Eli manning. thats really what it comes down to This is damons 1st year so its gonna be hard and all the prolblems with LJ its gonna be hard and Eli plays like its his 1st year he no longer has tiki to make up for his mistakes. So they might not be but i wouldnt put my money on it...but i see where your comin from.

Anyhow.

Art and I both think our Niners will make their comeback this year. I think Alex Smith is finally warmed up to playing QB with the big boys, and need I remind everyone we've got Frank Gore. If Frank keeps his track record up, AND the rest of the team improves, we can start actually winning some games.

I think the Saints will do well this year, too. I am iffy on the Pats having another successful year just yet. We all know what happened with the Seahawks' '06 season after making it to the Super Bowl the previous January.

Can I just say that in regard to the Packers, it's a good time to be a Niners fan?

I do not really think that the 49ers are sneaking up on anybody. I have already heard three "experts" predict them to win the NFC West.

Only early season predictions i have is that the falcons are in the toilet.I always cheered for vick but now i must admit i want Schaub back in case vick winds up in the clink.I think we had some good picks w/Jamaal anderson at DE with the loss of Kerney and never knowing what'll happen with Abraham. And Chris Houston can be a solid CB and Blalock could be a franchise lineman.

Frank Gore is a little punk. He is also the bane of my team's existence.
