Anybody read this?
I recently got hooked on Battle Pope, so I decided to check out if any other comiccs by Kirkm,an were this good, so I picked up a couple isses of Invincible, and after reading the two comics I bought, I was hooked.
Yesterday I bought the first two trades, and wow.
I highly reccomend everybody to check this out. Buy the first trade or two and you will be sucked in. The first two or three issues are a little on the slow side, but it deffinatly picks up.

I still enjoy it right now, but I am not sure how long it can go before it gets old.

I'm not reading it now, because I don't have a LCS that carries the monthlies.

I have read up to about issue 30-something, I think.

Can you give a little more info on this series? I'll certainly get myself a copy, but I want to know what I'm getting myself into.

But to explain, no that will take to long; let me sum up: Invincible is basically a comic book about Superman's son (of course, Superman is actually Omni-Man here) growing up and getting his powers. I know this is one of those concepts that is sort of "already done", but trust me, there are twists here you will not see coming, and absolutely fresh concepts.

I would recommend you go ahead and get the ultimate Hardcover volume one. It's only $20 at Buy.com, and is probably the best way to start reading.

Sure, it may be good, but that's the gayest costume ever. Well.. not quite. Denis Rodman wins most of the top ten ones. And I'm sure there are some others that would win. But it's a pretty lame costume.

It's a good, bright, superhero-y costume.
