| I wrote a poem. READ IT. The End of Creativity
As I sat before my screen,
And tried to think of something keen,
I wondered if the Mujahideen,
Suffered from this problem.
While I tried to circumvene,
This issue ever unforeseen,
I uttered something quite obscene,
And cursed this wretched poem.
Perhaps the poem with the bean,
Had left me somewhere in between,
The mental state of a sardine,
And that of a Chihuahua.
For as I started verse umpteen,
I started feeling slightly green,
And then I fell and hurt my spleen,
Which rendered me immobile.
I wished upon some large machine,
For ample time to reach latrine,
Not unlike a submarine,
Which makes no sense at all.
And then I had an idea keen,
To make my problem become unseen,
Not unlike a large smokescreen,
And so I plagiarize.
Because of lack of fine cuisine,
I finally gave in to the caffeine,
And as I shouted “Tangerine!”
This, I realized:
I am a lousy poet,
I don’t like writing poems,
They take to long, they are annoying,
So I steal ones I didn’t write. |

| What the duck?
A professor at my (Catholic) school once told the class he hoped we'd rot in Hell if we plagiarized or cheated.

| Is there no irony in me writing my own poem about not writing my own poems? |

| There is. Google confirmed it was original. Nevertheless, I thought that was an appropriate time to divulge that information to the public.

| I'm gonna assume the job at Costco fell through based on this poem. |
