| Hey worship leaders... Hey worship leaders, ever been super late one day?
Yeah this sunday. We usually meet at 8:30 to practice, service starts at 9:30 (its only an hour and i know its a too short). But anyway, my cursed new phone's soothing alarm tones woke me up at 8:45. It was one hectic morning, but luckily I prepared an acoustic set, so it was easier to practice. haha
share your stories! doesn't have to be about you being late, anything embarrassing will do

| In over 10 years of needing to show up early, I can probably count on one hand how many times I've been just a few minutes late...never more than 5 as far as I can remember.
Even back in the days when I lived a dual life of late-late-night bar gigs on Saturday night and church worship team on Sunday AM, I always managed to roll in on-time.
It's a gift, I guess. I usually just naturally get up when I'm supposed to. I do have a two-stage alarm clock which does help on those rough don't-wanna-get-out-of-bed days; alarm 1 is set to a CD and alarm 2 is set to the radio, about 30 minutes apart.
If this is something that may be an issue for you (your new phone deal may have just been a fluke but some folks suffer from chronic lateness for a variety of reasons), maybe you should look into getting the most annoying alarm available and set it somewhere that you'll have to physically get up to shut it off? |

haha, I recently did this. It took some major will power. I actually like getting up early, but I have a hard time rolling out of bed.

#4 | | Algebraic! | I still hold that my most embarrassing/weirded out moment came from when I was in high school and playing youth group worship. it was one of my last weeks of my senior year (maybe one of the last two) and I had a girl (that I knew fairly well) tell me after worship, "you look really sexy when you play the guitar"...
now I understood high school girls and that some of them thought so and so was cute when they were playing their instrument...but to have someone come up and say it outright about me...to my face...totally weird. |
