Yes, there was some child actress that ate absolutely nothing but carrots for a good long while, and she turned orange. Also suffered malnutrition if I remember correctly.

Saw a show on child stars on E! and then on VH1. It's more of an orange tinge, like too much cheap fake tan that's a little past it's prime, not "hey, I'm a human carrot."

But you pretty much have to be eating nothing but carrots, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I think it's a matter of diluting it, not so much the color itself. If you ate enough bread alongside it you'd probably be fine.
