| Song Selections - week of June 2/3 Well, this weekend is the Adam show, where it's just me and my acoustic(s).
I have kept my main acoustic guitar tuned a half step down for the past two months, and I haven't broken a string. Interesting.
Anyway, here we go: Keeping It Simple
Be Glorified (G) - Tomlin (now with double capo action!)
Welcome/Greeting Everyday (A) - Hillsong Lead Me To The Cross (A) - new Hillsong United, I'm using Oasis' Wonderwall as the intro to the song and the instrumental between choruses and verses. All Creatures Of Our God and King (C) - Crowder's "Illuminate" version Everything (C) - Lifehouse
Communion
Offering
Message - Keeping It Simple: Impact The World
no closing song

| I'll be playing unless my wife gives birth this weekend which is entirely possible since she's due on Monday
Not to us - G
Let the Praises Ring - D
I am Free - D
Grace Like Rain - Dm
Breathe -A
Has anyone ever introduced Not to Us using U2's Bad riff? I realized tonight that they could go together nicely. We're doing the song in G this week though so that won't work so well...

Welcome
Happy Day (C) - Tim Hughes
Shine (G#) - Matt Redman

And I forgot what the setlist is for the concert tonight. I think we're doing like 6 or 7 songs before Michelle. |

| Yeah, she's good looking and talented. Her husband, Doug, is very lucky. He was a cool guy as well. Anyway, this was our set for it:
Your Grace is Enough w/intro track (A) - Chris Tomlin
Everlasting God (B) - Brenton Brown (Brewster's version)
Happy Day (C) - Tim Hughes
From the Inside Out (C) - Hillsong United
Glory in the Highest (E) - Chris Tomlin
I Am Free (D) - Desperation Band
It was so nice to be back home for the weekend. |
