Your Favorite Unplugged Worship Songs

So...

Next week I'm doing a solo acoustic worship set at my church, because all of my drummers are gone. We've done some unplugged stuff before, but this is the first time it will be just me.

I've already picked out one song (out of five) to do - the new song "Lead Me To The Cross" by Hillsong United. I'm going to start out with the beginning of "Wonderwall" by Oasis as the intro to this song and as the instrumental in between chorus and verses.

I have some other ideas, but I wanted to see what others' favorite unplugged worship songs are as well.

One of my favorite's that we've done for an acoustic set is "Yearn" by Shane and Shane. Actually, we use a lot of their stuff for unplugged sets, but it's been a long time since we've had an unplugged set, I'll try to remember some other songs we've done.

Everything I do at the present is accoutstic (new church plant...) These are the ones that work the best for me:

The Heart of Worship
Amazed
He Knows My Name
Take My Life and Let Me Be
Draw Me Close
Holy is the Lord
God of Wonders
It is Well (Jars of Clay version)
Rescue
His Strength is Perfect
There is None Like You
Unashamed Love
Shout to the Lord
Forever

I've heard a great mellow reflective 98% acoustic rendition of "Come, Now is the Time to Worship." Added a whole new dimension to the song...

Have a 12-string? I do pretty much our entire catalog on acoustic when needed. The 12-er really helps fill things out.

A 12 string would be nice. But no, I don't have one.

Agreed, Sabertooth that Shane and Shane are very good.

An acoustic set could easily turn into a very special worship time for your church. Without the hype and excitment of drums and driving electric guitar, worship can turn into something quite intimate and special.

My favourite songs to play acoustic are 'Better is One Day' by Matt Redman and 'Lord You Have My Heart' by Delrious?
