hey has anybody heard this song by bride? I absolutely love it but i can't figure out what exactly their trying to say through the song. Does anybody know what it means?

They seem to be talking about how unsaved people and dead religions view Jesus. The crucifix and the cross as secular art. At least thats what I got from it. Actually pretty catchy lyrics. Its sad Dale is a universalist now.

What proof do you have that he is a universalist? The messages on their official site don't seem to support that at all.

This kind of reminds me of the way Roger Martinez from Vengeance Rising abandoned his faith.

It's true that Dale doesn't openly blaspheme and mock Christ the way Roger does...but the path he is on pretty dangerous.

I don't think Roger was saved in the first place.

PSJ was and is a great song musically. I think "Snakes" is probably one of Bride's best albums. I still pull it out now and then and give the disc a spin on my player. As I stated in another post a few moments ago about Dale, for as long as I've been reading his thoughts, he seems, at least to my finite mind, to have some strange ways of thinking.

Have I read everything Dale has ever posted? No. But what I have read sometimes makes me go "huh"? But "Snakes" was a great recording with that old classic rock feel to it. They even had some Kentucky guitar picking with Greg Martin from The Kentucky Headhunters on there too. There's still a couple of songs off that CD I'd like to learn how to play. PSJ might be one of them.
