Talking Why do you play keyboard/piano?

Well?? Why did you start playing keyboard or piano?

For me... it was because I was kinda getting tired of playing the sax, and there was a sale at RadioShack for one of those cheap keyboards. I took to it really quick and just fell in love with the instrument. The rest is history.

I took piano lessons for almost 4 years, but i wasn't learning as much as i wanted to. My parents made me quit, but i learned how to chord, and i also play by ear. So...i'm kinda glad they made me quit or i wouldn't be able to chord, and wouldn't be able to play much..now i play for our church praise team.

i took lessons from the time i was in about first grade till i was in fourth, i didn't learn a whole lot, and i didn't like my teacher, so i quit... i kinda regret it now, cause i want to learn how to play again, i can pick out notes, and even play somewhat complicated stuff if i sit and work on them for long periods of time, but the reason i'm wanting to learn how to play good again is that my grandpa tells me everytime i see him that the guitar isn't that bad, but he wants me to learn how to play the piano...
