Deu 5:16 "'Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.

Eph 6:1-3 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
"Honor your father and mother" (this is the first commandment with a promise), "that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land."

I was just going to post those verses, but I have to add my comments...

Dating behind their backs? And I think that those verses would apply to relationships too...because if it works out...her parents will be your parents too. It only seems to make sense that you would talk to her (whoever she is) parents and respect their opinions.

This is ridiculous.

If you're still a child, you need to obey your parents and respect their wishes.

If you're an adult, you need to own up to your actions.

Either way, sneaking around is not an option. The only exception is if your parents are raving psychopaths and would try to kill you if you were dating.

I'm pretty sure I am, and well OK I guess no "undercover dating" I was just thinking that cause one of her brothers went out with his girlfriend for maybe four years or more, mostly because her parents wouldn't let them date each other.
