| Footy!!! (League, Union, AFL, Soccer/Football, take your pick) Now this is supposedly a forum full of Aussies and Kiwis, yet there's no talk of any football codes!! What's going on?? I'll talk about most sports, so I'll put my teams out there, and hopefully we'll get something rolling from this... especially as I'm heading to Colombia for 10 months, doing some mission work there, so I might need something to keep me in touch with whats happening.
NRL- I'm a Dragons supporter, and it hasn't been fun so far this year. Should perform better against Penrith tomorrow night, but I'm not expecting them to make the finals this season. Melbourne to win the comp (as much as it pains me to say so)
AFL- Swans fan, and they should go alrite this year. The usual suspects will be around come finals time. Swans, Eagles, Adelaide, look for Brisbane to go close as well.
Super 14- The less said about the Waratahs, the better. and it's not looking good for the Wallabies either. France to win the World Cup.
Soccer/Football- Plenty of comps to talk about here. I'll chat about the English, Scottish, Spanish, French and Australian leagues, plus the Asian Champs League and the Socceroos.
Well i hope to get something going here, feel free to bag my teams out, but keep it to the teams, nothing personal or derogatory (of course)

| NRL- now a toss up between Nth QLD and Gold Coast. I was born in Nth Qld, Raised from 3-10 in PNG, then 10-18 on the gold coast. that said if PNG had a team it would be my team. But how good are the robbitos going?! i'd love to see them back on top.
AFL - lions
Super 14 - Reds
Soccer - roar.
i feel your pain when it come to the super 14. our teams may as well stop playing this season and train for the wolrd cup. |

| Bunnies have been going pretty good this year... I'm willing to say that they are a chance of making the 8. Gold coast will be around there as well. And as for the Super 14 teams training for the World Cup, I don't think any amount of training will help us. Another prediction... Wallabies will be knocked out in the quarter finals. |

| What happens if all your predictions come true? will you start a SMS fortune telling service charging $4.55 per message, then the messages won't stop coming, making you millions?
I think NZ has a much better chance of doing well at the world cup then we do. |

| Broncos Vs Rabbitos: awesome game, just finished being shown here in Qld. If you haven't seen it I won't spoil the score, but I’ll just say, watch it till the VERY end.
EDIT: Ok, so the broncos won 8-4, but the Rabbitos were at them until the very LAST second. They scored their first try of the game with about a minute to go and then almost score another one off the kick return. Broncos only scored one converted try and one penalty kick, both after half time. Nice close game, I hope all the games this year are this good.

| Honestly, I don't have much interest in rugby unless it has something to do with the All Blacks, 7's, or the New Zealand Maori.
I don't really follow Super 14, League, AFL, or Soccer.
I do like and follow American Football (NFL). |

| Hey, NFL can be included. I'm a Packers fan, just didn't include it thinking most Aussies dont think of it as 'real' football (too much padding) There's not much to talk about at the moment, with it being the offseason and all, but I'll be more than happy to bring it into the fold. |

| Hey, awesome. Wow, I didn't think there'd be too many NFL fans in here.
I'm a Steelers fan myself. |

How did you guys get into NFL?
For me it was back in highschool, I have a friend that while being born in korea, from the age 2-12 was in New Zealand and 12-now in Australia, and loves EVERYTHING american. He got me to tape the games on cable, i started to watch the games as well and went from there. |

| For me, it was watching the Super Bowl on the monday before school went back, and trying to work out how on earth this game worked!! then we got pay tv, and started watching the games after i left school. It's such a tactical game, so indepth. If only they could play a game in 90 mins rather than 180.... |

| HEY wallabies beat the kiwis last night in the Union. Never would have put any money on them . Theyve been playing badly. That said, all my teams have been playing badly. The Panthers, the Tahs and the Swans. Might as well not follow football at all |

| Well I'm a dragons man... if I wasn't a Christian I'd definitely be bipolar.... so consistently inconsistent.
Nice to see NSW didn't get swept in Origin. Always next year. |
