| How I Met Your Mother Anyone else love this sitcom? I find this to be one of the funniest shows I've ever watched.
The episode tonight really solidified my position on it.
I wish my friends and I played "Slap Bet" growing up...
I totally would've wanted to be the Slap Bet Commisioner... |

| I think it's funny and cute, but not "send me into a diabetic coma" cute. I would watch it more often if it weren't on when I actually want to do non-TV things. |

| It's really the only show I'm set on watching every week. I love it, and that says alot. I really never watch television.

| The few episodes I've seen didn't seem very special, and there was a lot of bad stuff in them. I'll definitely stick with Simpsons reruns and NBC's Thursday night lineup (My Name is Earl, the Office, Scrubs and 30 Rock)

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

| Gonna go ahead and dig this thread up: I'm hooked on this show!
I first saw it when I started watching the CBS Monday Night lineup this past spring, so I caught a few episodes in the second-half of Season Four.
My wife and I went back and rented Season One and fell in love right away. We just finished Season Two and Season Three is in the mail from Amazon as we speak!
I know they are now on Season Five and I'm only on 3, so I can't contribute very much...but is anyone else a fan of this show since two years ago when someone last posted here?

| I've only seen one episode as of yet. It really impressed me though.

| I've been watching from the beginning and I only love it more as the seasons go on.
I think Barney is one of the funniest characters on a sitcom today. |

| I like the few episodes I've seen. It doesn't compare to earlier episodes of the office or anything, but it's a good show. |

| Anyone know where I can watch this online? CBS.com is the first hit in a Google search but I can't find the full episodes ANYWHERE.
We just finished the Season 3 DVD and found out the Season 4 DVD comes out in September, a week after Season 5 debuts on air! We were hoping it would come out this summer, in time for us to get all caught up.

| I liked the twist about Ted being in the wrong class -- I guess the means "your mother" wasn't in his architecture class, just that econ class.
My wife and I strongly suspect the mother is the girl Ted bumped into briefly at the St. Patrick's Day party, I think that was in S3. They wouldn't have shown that scene if it didn't mean something -- nothing like that happens randomly on a TV show.

Last night's episode was really good. Had all the right elements. I love how Lily has to be the mom of the group half the time. |
