| i think Dallas can and will pull this out. it's extremely pluaisble. at this point, of course, it woldn't shock me if they lost, but i just can't submit to that. Dallas has two more at home. Dallas played a great game last night, just a poor finish. i think this series will REALLY come down to game 6, because i'm counting on Dallas winning 5. if Dallas wins game 6 at GS, i think the ball is in their court, no pun intended. |

They shot a decent percentage and they took good care of the ball, thus preventing GS from running the ball the way they'd like to. And Nowitzki hitting 2 three's in the last 15 seconds is hardly what I'd call a poor finish. But GS still beat them. Yes, Dallas can come back and win three games in a row, but not against GS. |

How clutch, really, is Baron Davis? If you said über-clutch, you are correct.
I did like how Nowitzki decided to show up with another six points in the last minute. He made it a little closer than it needed to be, but it made it more dramatic.
Everyone says GS's defense is no good. The thing about their defense, though, is that there's no outstanding guy. Their players don't vary incredibly in height or girth, so one guy can cover more or less as well as the next. This enables them to play a swarming zone defense, which has been, at time, extremely effective against Dallas. There was one possession that Dallas kept passing around in order to try and get a shot off, but the swarming zone is so quick that they couldn't get an open guy. As soon as the pass was sent, the guy receiving the pass was covered.
A GS win will probably not come in game 7, but I don't figure on the series lasting that long . If the Warriors can come out of this series, preferably with a blowout, their momentum will be huge. They may not win it all, but, like Mr. claw said, they aren't the Cinderella team anymore. They're legitimately a playoff team; perhaps even a forse to be reckoned with.
Hopefully this GS team won't be a "one-year wonder."
Love in Him,
Joel |

| Cleveland completed their embarassing pwnage of Washington. I hate that Arenas was injured, though. It would've been way more interesting if he'd been in and in good health. CLE - 4 WA - 0 Tsk, tsk, tsk.
San Antonio beat Denver in the fourth quarter. They outscored them by 13 in that final stretch. I guess Denver just couldn't keep their pants on. Oh well.
Houston and Utah are two very evenly matched teams. But Houston has McGrady. Need I say more? |

| I really hope that Golden State can pull off a huge upset on Dallas, because that would make the way a lot easier for Pheonix.

| Same here, man, same here! I don't know if Phoenix could beat Dallas or not.
I wouldn't count San Antonio out just yet, though. They are a very talented veteran team. |

| As long as the Spurs have the option of keeping Bowen in for defense and swapping him for Finley for offense, they will be in contention to represent the Western Conference in the Finals. |

| You speak the truth. Here's Phoenix's record against the remaining teams:
Pho - 1 - SA - 2
Pho - 2 - DAL - 2
Pho - 3 - GS - 1
Pho - 3 - Hou - 1
Pho - 1 - Utah - 3
Pho - 2 - NJ - 0 - (I really wish I'd seen the 161-157 game)
Pho - 1 - Det - 1
Pho - 1 - Chi - 1
Pho - 2 - Cle - 0 |

| No one has love for Chicago? I know Detroit is probably the favorite due to their experience, but let's be honest, Chicago pretty much owned the Eastern conference - at least Miami and Detroit who said to be the top two contenders.
Oh, and did anyone notice that Ben Wallace hit 7 of 8 free throws on Sunday? Including 4 in a row in the fourth quarter? |

| I can't tell you how happy I am that Chicago is in the playoffs and doing well again. They went 3 and 1 against Detroit in the regular season... |

I've been saying I think they're a championship caliber team. Too bad they had to run into Detroit...New Jersey/Toronto would have been an easier 2nd round. Chicago actually matches up decently with Detroit, they could pull the upset. I'm rooting for the winner of Chicago/Detroit to win it all.
Toronto pulled out a squeaker to prolong their series with New Jersey. I don't know if they've got it in them to win 2 more though...it would be tough.
Dallas looks good tonight, up 14 a bit before halftime.
Ben Wallace actually can hit FT's...I remember seeing clips of him hitting 10 or 20 in a row in practice when he was with Detroit. He could never seem to get it going in games though. He had some good ones, but he clanked a lot of important ones. It should be a fun series to watch. |

that Dallas can win this series...and you should too....
if they finish this game up and come out this way in Game 6, look out.
yeah, 7 points before halftime, but that's just their style...when you liv by the 3, you die by it, and i think it's gonna be hard for the 3 to carry them when Dallas is playing like they are.
oh yeah, and all you Dirk-haters, (as if his clutch performances in the West Semis and Finals weren't enough), hows this? |

| Dirk just got a technical on the way to the locker room (unless it was Stackhouse). And he has 3 personal fouls. Dallas is playing like they did all season for a change. And Nowitzki had a good start, but I think most of the credit goes to the rest of the team. |

| Omni-major-super-duper-kudos to Dallas for coming back and holding on to win. Nowitzki played a heck of a game. Both teams played an amazing game. Whew! What a show! |
