Ha! I was right about all three games.

Nice...Utah got beat again by Houston...I think they could get swept. Detroit dominated again too. I don't expect the Heat to come back this year, I don't think Wade is healthy enough to take them all by himself.

This hasn't been the best year for Miami...at all. They were barely over .500.

San Antonio and Dallas both won last night. I think Dallas will be able to take Golden State, but Denver still has a good shot of beating San Antonio.
Cleveland won again and is now up 2-0 on Washington, that should be a sweep. They should have a pretty easy matchup against New Jersey or Toronto.

My predictions for the first 2 rnds:
(predicted winner in Bold)
Detroit vs. Chicago
Cleveland vs. Toronto

Dallas vs. Houston
Phoenix vs. Denver

I forecast Dallas putting some major whoop on everybody from here on out.

You're probably right.

Chicago and Detroit should at least be interesting, but I agree that Detroit will probably take care of business. Chicago just doesn't have enough experience to take them. Cleveland will beat Toronto (or NJ).

Dallas will wreak a path of humiliating destruction and then Phoenix will give them some serious competition. I think Phoenix could beat them, but I just don't know...Dallas has a deeper bench. Phoenix's bench consists of Leandro Barbosa. So yeah...could go either way. If Phoenix is able to play their style of play and run 'n gun, they could beat Dallas. Which would be fine with me...

A Dallas-Phoenix matchup would be very good. I say that can go either way as well. Seven games, no doubt. The difference this year is Stoudamire.

Yep. Phoenix will have a much better presence in the paint if he performs well. The lack of said presence was a major factor last year.

Detroit is playing well against Orlando because Orlando is the 8 seed...in the Eastern conference. Phoenix may be beating LA worse than Dallas is beating GS (they technically aren't at all) but I assure you that Dallas is not a team to be underestimated. They were a mere 5 games away from tying the best regular season record in the NBA's history. They started 0-4, and then went 67-15 for the seaon. That is absurd. 67 games? I think that might be the second best...

Anybody see the lakers game last night? It was nice to see Kwame Brown finally get on a roll. If L.A. wants to advance they need to do the same thing they did last night: Get other people involved...In the east, I like the Bulls, but i dont think that they'll be able to compete with anyone from the West.

LA played an excellent game last night. Hats off to Kobe and Brown.

You're right...Detroit beating Orlando means nothing...other than confidence for Detroit. But anything other than Detroit dominating this series would have been a disapointment. If Detroit won 4-2 they'd still be dissapointed I think.
Especially now that they're up 4-0.

Dallas is definitely not to be underestimated, I'm sure they'll make it to the west finals, and probably win it. But when going by the records...look at Detroit last year. They won how many games? I think it was 68, and then didn't close out the easy series in the beginning, started getting some injuries, and just collapsed against Miami. I'm not saying that's what Phoenix or Dallas will do, just that they need to be careful.

Utah finally won a game last night...good for them. They're a better team than what they've been showing. They'd probably be a top 2 seed in the east.

i think if you look at SA, too....maybe didn't win as many games as Detroit, but they won the #1 seed in the West, had a tough series against Sac-town, and they didn't necesarily fall apart against Dallas b/c of fatigue or injuries, but that first series didn't help them.

i am a little bit nervous about the road after this series. i don't think GS will beat them, but i think they could very possibly win another game (tonight is their first playoff game there in a decade, they'll be pumped). Houston or Utah will be tough, and the Spurs and Detroit (assuming they DO make it out) will be tough...at least last season Dallas had Memphis and swept them. but i think this team is of course better, but also smarter and hopefully will be less likely to do what they did last year (and GS did in game 2), lose their cool.

You have to admit, though that it was not that San Antonio was playing poorly last year. Sacramento was playing extremely well. Last year, from the day they aquired Artest until the end of the season, they had the second best record in the NBA behind only the Spurs.

Golden State does not have that kind of ridiculous momentum. But they still match up extremely well with Dallas, which makes them dangerous. I think GS has a shot at it. I do not think they will pull it off, but I believe that they can.
