History TAKS Test
today I took the history TAKS Test... I loved the Sample...lol.... anyone else take the test?

I know this is an old thread, allchrist, but how did you do? What do you think of the test?

I ask because I've been hired for a school district in/near Houston and will be teaching with the TAKS in the near future.

TAKS is a sham. Biggest waste of money ever spent. It's mind numbingly easy, and if kids don't pass it it's because they don't care, not because the school is bad.

Most standardized testing is a sham, so this doesn't surprise me. How heavily pressured are schools to do well in TX?
