| Maybe to help, Bungie instills a No-Party Slayer Playlist?

| Having EXP and rankings carry no weight in social playlists would be ideal, I think. No-party would be... Lone Wolves. |

Even if experience played a role most people party up in Social Slayer and unless you are playing with a party teams are 80% stacked against you. (In my experience) Which one reason I don't play Halo Multiplayer solo.
Call of Duty has what they call Mercenary playlists which prohibit parties. Teams are usually even, every match and if they're not. Teams change at the end of the current set.

| So, I finally got to borrow the game from someone and have enough time to play most of the campaign at least 3 times. (first on Normal, second on Heroic while getting skulls, and third for meta-game achievements. Extremely late to the party, I know.)
The lack of save points on the last level is extremely annoying. First when you have to fight through all the Flood to get up to the structure, and then on the warthog escape. I got about 1/4th of the way through it, died somehow, and got sent all the way back to that first big room you enter from the side of the mountain.
It was fun though to do the Warthog part with the metagame, because it was actually a race against time before the multiplier would be reduced and I wouldn't have enough points to get the achievement.
Also, each time I do that level I wish they'd make the movie(s) already, because if they got to the third movie, the Warthog escape would awesome to watch. Maybe that's just me.

| Is it the lack of save points, or are you just not finding them? I've done that before where I thought there should have been a save point, but I just didn't have Master Chief walk in the 'right spot' to find it. It was there all along; I was just missing it.

| The area has to be clear of enemies to get a savepoint, generally. |

| The little area where the Warthog is didn't have any enemies (I thought) and I seem to remember respawning around that point before.

| Sometimes you can miss one that's hiding. Especially if their grunts because they'll just wait to be found and if their hiding, good luck.

| Brigadier Grade Three. Woot?
Honestly if I got another account I would try to be content at 44. The difference in who you get matched against as a Brigadier and as a Colonel is a bit ridiculous.
And I got my first Invincible spree this weekend. On zombies yes, but it wasn't easy. |

| I probably sound like a noob, but I finally tried Legendary yesterday.....HOLY COW.
It might as well be Gears of War minus the cover system. Or, you might as well be playing with a dozen other human players controlling the Jackal snipers and Brutes. It took me over an hour just to finish the first level. I wonder if I'll still get the Campaign achievement by just skipping to the final level, but I doubt that'll work and I can't imagine beating the giant swarm of Flood at the beginning (by myself at least).

| Nope, you have to play the entire thing on Legendary to get the achievement. |

I maintain that Halo CE had the hardest Legendary campaign. Just for me anyway.
Halo 3's is only tough because you can completely destroy a whole squad....except for maybe this one guy in the corner you didn't even see. And then he picks you off. Quite annoying. Quote:

Bleh. |

| Or, you whittle down a whole pack of Brutes from cover and see the Chieftain charge as he activates his invincibility....*shudder*
