| I disliked the size of Containment, but I loved all of the different quirks the map had. There were so many obstacles on it that you could use a million different strategies to defend/attack a base. It sucked for slayers, though. |

| This, along with GTA 4, has convinced me to invest in an xbox 360 come September. Really looking forward to it.
I just hope they get rid of the `brutes` from halo 2. |

From how the second trailer looked, they haven't.

Someone might have already answered this, but what exactly is the significance of the beginning of the second trailer? (or "ends" in my sig)

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

| well ppl have said that the begining of one of the trailers they dont think is actually the master chief and that it might be one of the 4 surviving spartens
(the elites have joined the humans or something and supposedly the main enemy is the brutes) |

| I've been playing the Halo 3 beta and it's freakin amazing. I think they did just the right amount of changes to make this the best mulitplayer Halo yet. The biggest difference for me was the fact that reload is no longer X. It is now the right bumper, which, if I remember correctly, is the same as Gears of War. X now deploys any kind of accessory item you might have (the bubble shield, a gravity thing that you walk over and throws you in the air...etc). I'm really looking forward to September. |

Now don't get your pants in a wad, they're going to fix them. Bungie (the developers of Halo) confessed that they just sort of threw the brutes in at the last minute. As a result, they were boring to fight, as all you could really do was fill them with as much lead as possible and pray they die before you do. In Halo 3, brutes will behave more like Elites-they will be more intelligent, more tactical, and most importantly, they'll die if you shoot them point blank with a shotgun. |
