I should get back to biking more often. I haven't done it consistently in a while. I used to bike at least 5 days a week a year or two ago. It is great exercise...especially since I only have 7 gears and lots of hills to climb. The 7 gears is by choice though.
What kind of bike do you ride? I don't know if you ever told me.
I have a Schwinn mountain bike. I got it even though I ride mostly on paved roads because I knew it would be durable. It's been a great bike. |

Try 60000!
260km is alot. I used to ride my bike alot, but I never did that much in a week. Maybe 20 miles at the most ( I think that would be like 40 or 50km to you).
The infamous Adridoodle Roar. Whoa...

Oh, well. If that were the case, I'd be in trouble too. I just got the new Becoming The Archetype CD, The Physics of Fire.

What kind of bike do you ride? I don't know if you ever told me.
| I have 3 bikes, the one I ride lately is a mountian bike (Carrera), semi-heavy frame, with front and back suspension. It is horrible for riding cross country- but I have been using it for training just to build pedaling speed. (24 speed) (Actually in a pro. way it is a piece of crap, but no one who knows nothing about bikes would know it.) I also have a great 86' bike (Raleigh) with part front suspension. It was before its time, it rocks.
Then my baby, which is no brand, my uncles custom built it for me. It is pretty light, maybe a little too light, no suspension and so fun. Quote: |

I once went on a 40km bike ride and got lost. I ended up riding up a mountain I found in the middle of nowhere, then down the mountain I found in the middle of nowhere. And then the chain fell off, and I had to call someone.
But yeah, my bike is now unrideable, and I really, really, really want to buy a cool mountain bike. I have about $400 saved that I can use. *wonders if that would be enough moolah*
I'm sure I could go for 60km, but I'm not sure just how long it would take me to do so, and how much energy it would take out of me. I am reasonably fit now, since I've been running every night for five months and doing huge long sets of skipping so many times a day, so I probably could get a reasonable distance. Man, it's exciting me now. I wants a bike! Quote: |
