Hey Jeremy, Social Work seems to suit me better too, I am way more excited about school. Yes, someone was hacking onto all of my stuff, I know who it is, and was very upset about it. The worst thing I did was confront him though, so now I have to ignore him.

Anyway I am almost for the idea of Prostitution, just because people should b e able to do what they want to do. But I havent studied into it to see how it will effect society.

That is actually a slippery slope. Think more about it. If people were allowed to do what they want to do, we'd also have a lot more murder, stealing, etc. etc. It would be madness.

Don't worry about disappointing people, make the choices that work right for you. I just wish you'd stayed in the nursing program though. I could see you as a Social Worker. I can imagine that it can be fulfilling, heartbreaking work.

What is your culture/native band?

Prostitution eh? I'll have to give that one some thought. I've never been a prostitute though, just so everyone knows.

I think sometimes it doesn't really matter. But I am not sure. Yes they would, but they already do so. I suppose there would be better chance of getting away with it, which would not be good.

I can see it being really heartbreaking, I have a really tender heart, I would have a lot of tears. Already they classes have me emotional in a good way.
My native Band is cald TSARTLIP (Sencoten) It is West Saanich from Brentwood Bay, Vancouver Island B.C! ( Not where I live. )

I havent watched much South Park, but you know it is A really touchy show that brings up a lot of good points about reasoning behind why the government does what it does etc.

here below is a start to my essay, feedback please! (rough draft)

Currently in Canada, prostitution is legal with a lot of stigma around whether it should be, regarding where it is done and why. Prostitution is the act of engaging in sexual activities in exchange for money, for self or another person. This has become an issue between sex-trade activists and the government laws on prostitution. There has been criticism from both sides on the state of prostitution and on how to make it better. The laws around prostitution make it very hard to engage in it without it being illegal (operating a brothel, being found in one, solicitation in public, living means). What the sex-trade activists want done is for the laws to alter where brothels would be legal as well as public procuring of sex. The government now regards prostitution as a culturally negative impact and not favourable. As well, people against it (and certain group parties) see prostitution as enabling human trafficking, child prostitution, forced prostitution, as well as demeaning to women, exploiting them and male dominance.

Should prostitution be legal?

Thanks! I am so nervous, I dunno why! Last midterm for this class ( unfair there are 3 for this course!) I was totally fine, but then I did extremely poor. I really appreciate the support.
