Blindside is my ALL time favorite band, as soon as the release date is set, i'm counting down the days!
this is from Blindsides blog ~ "First off we'd like to announce that blindside is currently in the studio recording new music and will have this material out within a not too distant future. We will have all the details for you in the next newsletter."
I am STOKED.
This will be there 6th full lenth album.

| I can't say I don't agree. The day Blindside ceases to play music will officially be declared a day of world-wide mourning, and I will use it as an excuse to not go to school. |

I think they still have quite a bit of juice left.
I plan to skip school the day its released and go pick it up and pisten to it.

| I hope that they go back to their older stuff like Silence and their self-titled album, The Great Deppression wasn't all that hot. |

That's a good one. TGD owns all other cds. |

And i thought TGD was there best album hands down. They get better with every album to me, although AABF and Silence are pretty dang close.
I wouldn't be upset if they stuck with TGD style, but, knowing Blindside, they will likely try something new. Which I am looking forward to.

| Yeah, TGD was easily their best and most impressive album. But, I hope they do something a little different. It wouldn't be Blindside if they did the same thing. Every album of theirs is different. Their s/t was like 90s hardcore/rapcore type stuff, ATCMM was sorta hardcore/metal/screamo, Silence was sort of melodic hardcore, AABF was more screamo than anything, and TGD was like screamo/retro/hard rock/hardcore. I can't wait to see what they'll do next. |

| Sounds sweet, I haven't gotten their last one, partly cause "Heart Attack" sounded kinda bad. and it was weird that Simon was playing an acoustic guitar in the last video when the song is obviously not acoustic.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

| Am I the only person in the world that was disappointed by their last album? I mean I loved ABF, but GD was a real letdown for me....

TGD just seemed so boring to me, About a Burning Fire and Silence just seem to blow it out of the water. |
