you know, if you have rhythm, and you have basic technique.. and you just keep on listening to that awesome praise..you really pick up the flow of it..when to hit what and so on..'scuse my extremely untechnical descriptions..anyways, so if you have the above two talents..listen to praise songs with all different drum beats, and when you actually do it, trust your insticts...go for it..give your all..have fun..go crazy..be undignified for our Lord!!
that's what I do, and it's an awesome way of praising Him

Some people just have that natural talent. Anyone with decent rhythm can sit down and hit one or two drums with a constant rhythm and make it sound halfway decent, but it takes a lot of skill and talent to put all those drums together at once and make it sound nice.

How bout, drum for yourself. Play for your fans and audience. Make music for those who like your style. Play for the benefit of good taste and non-judgmental ears everywhere. Playing for the lord is not necessary, I can bet you, he doesn't care.

Well then Donny, you know better than anyone else here why I, unlike others, would have brought it up :-)
