CGR Starcraft Tournament II

I figure since I now know of more CGR-ers that are getting back into starcraft (some of which I've played and owned thoroughly now), its about time to start making plans for the second CGR Starcraft tournament.

Rules:
1) This is open to CGR members only.
2) It doesn't matter where you live.
3) You can use whatever gateway you wish, just keep in mind that that there may be some lag involved in some matches. To reduce lag when having to use a gateway that isn't near to you, use the gateway representing the player with the more stable internet connection.
4) The official tournament map is Lost Temple.
5) Unless enough entrants do not have Brood War available, we will be using the latest version of Brood War.
6) At least one person from each game must save the replays and post them as an attachment so there is a permanent record of the owning that takes place. Also so that the next round of people can study the games that took place.

The game will be conducted as Single Elimination. Everyone that is eliminated in the first round will compete in a free for all on "The Hunters" for the title "Best of the Worst" and a possible chance to re-enter the tournament in case any non-eliminated players get a bye.

I know for a fact I will be competing. If you're interested, please reply to this thread and let me know. Also, give me your Battle.net handle so I can put it by your name in the tourney roster. I'll add you to the list. The tournament will officially begin on May 11, 2007. The last date to sign up is May 5, 2007.

1) RubberChipmunk (RubberChipmunk)
2) Insane Drummer (CatoTheElder13)
3) AXGuitar (Scaramouche)
4) Art (Zimfroi)
5) thesteve (teriyaki_steve)
6) Myles the Great (mylesthegreat)
7) SomeCallMeTim? (xzw)
8) Gains238 (Gains238)

If this thread could be stickied, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Sure thing, Jason. I may push the date back a little, anyway. We'll have to see.

AXGuitar is also in. We'll have more this time. ^_^

When you get it installed, you'll need to register on Battle.net (BNet). This is done by starting the game, clicking "Multiplayer," selecting "Battle.net" as the connection protocol (I think its default), picking a gateway, and then following the menus to create a new account (which is free).
