RISK 2210 A.D.

I just ordered it on Amazon after reading a ton of good reviews for it. My game group is probably going to love it, as we're all big Risk and Axis and Allies fans.

Anyone else played this? What do you think? Would anyone be interested in a PBEM game when I get it in on (hopefully) monday or tuesday?

I've seen it played. Very extensive and quite different.

How cool is it that you can claim territories on the Moon?

Not as cool as the fact that you can use the moon to launch attacks against any land territory. Or that you can nuke people into oblivion.

have you used the "fill in the blank" cards yet? We created one, where for 25 credits, you can blow up the moon. Now that's fun.

Blowing up the moon for 25 energy.... lol. evil.
I'll probably never touch the "make your own cards." Maybe if my friends are incredibly bored, we'll each make some to use in random games for humor purposes only.

According to the tracking information, it arrived in Jacksonville 18 minutes ago. Chances are, it will be delivered today while I'm at work. This means that my first game will be tomorrow. I'm pretty excited.

Gar, I can't wait.

Alrighty, it came in earlier today.

My first game will be Saturday with my gaming group.

After that, would anyone be interested in a Play By AIM/email/telepathy/whatever game?

PBEM would be really cool. Let me know...about it. I don't actually own the game, but if you had the cards, I'd manage.

I wonder how we'd pull that off? I've thought of a few ideas for PBEMming, but i have yet to work out the kinks.

I found something online about a FOG OF WAR setup. I'm going to try it with my gaming group on saturday.
