Cool Concert Praise Worship Guitarist

I'm dreaming

I'd really really like to be on the road, playing praise worship music in a great christian band.

Can anybody make a living at this?

Chris Tomlin, and Lincoln Brewster are probably the most popular. Many others do as well.

I really wish I could do this (take the road and play praise music for Jesus).

It would really depend and will probably not be a set amount. Someone like Daniel Carson playing for Chris Tomlin most likely makes more money than Alex Nifung.

"delight yourself in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart." (psalm 37:4)

the more "in touch" we r with the Spirit, the more our desires will become His desires... and who can stand in the way of His sovereign will?

Yes, you can make a living at it. It will not be easy though.

Yeah, Alex is great. He's one of my biggest influences in my P&W playing.

Not 100% up on this, but who does he play for?

I'm an old 54 year old rocker that was initiated to music by Hendrix and Page. Most of the guitar guys these days are half my age. I have maintained a pretty good physique though and kept most of my hair. I have more hair than a lot of guys in their late 20s.
