There's just no sense learning something incorrectly or inefficiently... especially not math.

Well... it's ridiculously simply algebra (trust me, in a few years you'll think the same of it). If you're making a big mess out of this, you're going to be screwed a few years down the road.

its just something I did when I was in Algebra I a lot. But as I got higher I got better with negitives and positves so I just left them be.
but it did help me a lot in Algebra I.

if you thought this was rediculously simple algebra and he's going to be screwed a few years down the road. I'm going to be seriously in trouble next year... Picked my classes today. Algebra 2 AND Geometry in one year!!!! I'll never survive...........

Well, it is really simple math, but everything is simply building on the previous classes. As long as you do well enough in the previous classes and don't completely forget everything, you should be fine. If you forget everything, then most classes do some refreshing during the first few weeks.

Algebra and Geometry aren't really that bad to take together. Some people who have a terrible time in other maths do great in Geometry. I think that it is probably because they can more easily apply geometry to a real life problem where algebra can be a little more abstract. Really you just need to come up with your own process, whether it is learning the concepts and completely understand them or just memorizing and using a standard process for working the problems. If you are just using a step by step process, you may pass but you probably won't enjoy it and sooner or later your process will break down.

I had College Algebra and highschool geometry at the same time this past year. I actually did much much better in Algebra. That's always been my strong point but I'm not generally too good numbers. The proofs in geometry kill me.
