Michael Jordan Autographed Ball price...

How much would a January 8th, 1993 autographed Michael Jordan ball, with the certificate of authenticity of course, be worth now? It was signed here at his old high school, Laney, and the certificate says so.

I got a birthday present from my grandma who's been saving it for 14 years.

My grandma won it in a raffle when MJ came back here to support their athletics department (Laney's gym is named after him). He came to watch Laney's team take on their rival, New Hanover. And, not pertaining to the ball though, my grandpa was friends with his dad; they worked together.

This isn't in classifieds because I'm not selling it yet. I figure people in this forum would know the most about it's value.

Ahhh...Collectibles. That makes more sense, though I didn't know this forum existed.

By the way, I'm not asking for a definate price, just any ballpark figure.

I wouldn't know an exact price on it
Though you might check list prices on eBay of other basketballs Jordan has signed....
and if you decide to sell
I might know someone who would like to buy it......
He might even know how much to sell it for.....
I'll ask him today.....

Well, here's one that someone expects to get $1200 for one.

Let me just make a point that should've been obvious. Someone wanting to buy it is not the most reliable source of pricing information.

In the completed eBay auctions, out of 7 that have been listed recently only TWO of them actually sold. One for just under $700 and one for just under $900 for a Buy it Now. Not terribly valuable for pricing information when you only have two points of reference.

Completed listings on eBay say that you should get inbetween 150 and 900 dollars for it.

Definitely not. I have no idea when I'll be selling this anyways.

This is most likely a dumb question. How do you view completed auctions?

I knew that when I said it
I just felt like saying it
I was gonna ask him how much it would sell for
or whatever
and then after he told me tell him that I know someone who was possibly gonna sell.

You have to have an eBay account. Log in and then click on advanced search. There's a box under the search box on that page that says "Show completed listings only" or something like that.
