LASIK surgery this evening.

Hey there,

I'm having LASIK surgery this evening to correct my vision. I've worn glasses/contacts for 15 years and now i'm going to get it taken care of.

Basically they peel back the top layer of your eye and shoot a laser in it and then you can see. Obviously, a bit more complex..but that's the basics.

I have to be there at 4:20 (cst) and my appointment is at 5:20. Please keep me in prayer. Thanks!

Well, all went well! I can see well enough to type this now. I'm going to drive to my appointment in about 2 hours. Words are still a little blurry but I only had the surgery about 16 hours ago. God is awesome! Thanks to anyone who prayed. Keep praying for full recovery...i have to drive to Texas (about 7 hours) tomorrow for my friend's wedding.

So awesome! I had LASIK 3 years ago and it is fantastic! And it will get even better over the next few weeks! Blessings on your new sight!

It took about 8 minutes total...and cost me about 2800. That's roughly $350 a minute. Youch.

..but I can see! I have to wear these really dorky looking goggles to sleep so I don't rub my eyes but I can see! My vision changes daily. I can always see but sometimes more clearly than others. Right now, it's a little (just a LITTLE) blurry looking at the computer screen. All in all, great procedure and i HIGHLY recommend.
