Ahoy hoy,

I have a problem with a windscreen (windshield) wiper.
I turned the wipers on to clean the windscreen yesterday, and the rubber had perished a bit and stuck to the glass (because of recent really hot weather). The passenger side wiper worked, the drivers side moved only slightly, and is all loose. I can move it freely with my hand.

Something - a thread somewhere I would guess - has been stripped.
Would that more likely be the wiper drive or the arm? Therefore, would replacing the wiper are do the trick?
