They are still a lot of fun.

But I think it's generally accepted that the faster and punkier your music is, the less mature it is. Most people think Anberlin "matured" with their new cd because they slowed down. Relient K's old music wasn't neccessarily "immature", that's just the word that comes to mind for some people after listening to songs like "skittles and combos" and "Pepperoni!" Maturing isn't a bad thing by any means, it's just the term that gets used more often than not when describing a band whose has moved on to a new sound that is less spunky than it was previously. There are no more secret songs on Relient K cds, and they have slowed down considerably. So either they got old and matured some as they went, or they just got old. And no, there's nothing wrong with "old" either. Or mature. If you let a stranger listen to "Two lefts" and then "Five score..." and then asked them which one sounded more mature, what do you think they would they say? |

I sort of understand your point, but I still think the terminology is wrong. You have to give me that. I hope this debate doesn't follow us through school.

| This album has a couple amazing songs and the rest just aren't that good. It just doesn't compare to the classic RK when there wasn't a bad song on an album. This doesn't even come close to mmhmm, and I think they chose a terrible single that was too immature. But I say all this out of personal opinion, not fact. |

cause i was watching an interview with them, and matt thiessen wrote in at 3 in the morning just for kicks, he showed the otehr matt, and he didn't like it it. But in the end, even though it was all just for fun, they started to like it and put it on the album, though it wasn't saupposed to be. They're aware its "immature" its a for fun song.

| I heard so much good about Deathbed, and I gotta say it deserves that. Although Jon Foreman's vocals somewhat ruin the song.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |
